Dr Belinda Keenan

Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologist

Belinda is a warm and empathic clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with infants, young children and their parents/caregivers. Belinda also works with teens, young adults, and expectant parents.

Meet Dr Belinda Keenan

Belinda takes a relational approach, valuing the parent-child connection as central to healing and holds the parent as expert in their child. There is a focus on nurturing parent-child attachment, and supporting parents to identify and meet the needs of their young person. Belinda’s approach is grounded in attachment, trauma-informed, and draws from a range of evidence-based therapies.

Work with Belinda will take a collaborative approach, thinking together to better understand the factors that may underlie the challenges and distress you are facing in yourselves or your young person. Working towards a shared understanding of the difficulties at hand, Belinda works with you to develop a clear plan for the work in therapy, where together you are able to track and reflect on progress and ensure therapy is helpful and purposeful.

Belinda brings wide-ranging experience working within tertiary mental health, non-for-profit, and private practice settings.
