Fees
As our clinic is a collective of independent psychologists and psychotherapists, fees and rebates vary depending on who you see and what assessments or treatments are provided. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Please note: We do not offer bulk billing.
Standard individual appointments
Fees
Fees start at $250 per session.
Afterhours appointments are $270 per session.
Standard individual sessions are for 50-minutes.
Rebates
Rebates on a Mental Health Care Plan (6+4, with a total of 10 per calendar year):
- $149.05 for a clinical psychologist
- $101.55 for a generalised psychologist
- $89.50 for a registered mental health social worker
Rebates under the Chronic Condition Management Framework (5 for psychology per calendar year):
- $63.40 for a psychologist and/or mental health social worker
Rebates under private health vary depending on the insurer.
Specialist assessments and treatment appointments
Specialist assessments, including neuropsychology assessments, have bespoke pricing depending on the scope and duration of the assessment and report writing. Specialist treatment appointments, including extended EMDR sessions, have bespoke pricing depending on the scope and duration of the treatment.

ContactLate cancellations and missed appointments
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. When appointments are missed or changed at short notice, we’re unable to offer that time to someone else, often someone waiting for an appointment with one of our psychologists. It also impacts our ability to provide consistent support and maintain the viability of our practice as a small business. It can also be hard to find a new time with your psychologist, due to high demand.
If something comes up and you can’t attend your appointment in person, please consider one of our flexible options, including Telehealth and phone sessions.
If you do need to cancel or reschedule, here’s what to expect:
- more than 48 hours’ notice provided – no cancellation fee
- less than 48 hours’ notice – 50% of the full session fee applies
- less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show – full session fee applies
for Monday & Tuesday appointments, changes must be made by 12pm Friday or fees apply
Take the next step
- Step 1: Make an enquiry or send through your referral to admin@woodwalk.com.au.
- Step 2: We will endeavour to respond to you within 4 working days to have a brief chat to determine if we are the right psychology practice for your needs and, if so, which independent psychologist is the best fit.
- Step 3: You will be sent an intake form from the independent psychologist, who will provide further details on their fees, processes and wait times.
- At this time, we will also provide you with details on how the psychologist practices, including fees and our cancellation policy, and obtain your consent.
